  • Country Day Earns Highest Honor Roll Designation For Advanced Placement Program

  • Junior Christian Myers Shatters Another School Record While Several Runners Secure Top Spots in the State and in School History!

    On October 7, 2023, the boys' and girls' cross country teams competed in the Catholic High Invite. With a fast course and low temps, we were looking for fast times, which is exactly what happened. 

  • 45 Country Day Students Recognized as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars

    In recognition of their performances on Advanced Placement (AP) Exams, 45 Country Day students have been selected for recognition in The College Board’s 2023 AP Scholar Awards program. These students have demonstrated college-level achievement through their performances on all AP exams and in all AP courses. Honorees are recognized in three categories: AP Scholar with Distinction, AP荣誉学者, 和AP学者.

    Metairie Park Country Day School’s Chapter of the National Honor Society invites students to apply for membership during their second semester if they maintain a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.4或以上, 参加了至少两个学术荣誉课程/AP课程, and fulfill or exceed the required number of community service hours. The application includes several short essays about the Country Day community, 学习目标, 个人目标, 以及领导的抱负和能力. All members pledge to uphold the tenets of the National Honor Society: Scholarship, 领导, 服务, 和性格, standards of excellence established by the nation’s oldest and largest secondary school recognition program.
